The return of the “mixed use” concept in real estate projects

The concept of “mixed use”, or multipurpose, became a trend again in Brazil, after losing strength in the 70s. An emblematic example of a building with this concept is the Copan, in São Paulo, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and which has apartments , commercial rooms and a gallery with several services.

In this sense, current projects seek to revitalize this concept, incorporating modernity and efficiency into multipurpose projects. There are already projects that mix health, housing and commercial complexes in just one enterprise, relating to each other and increasing the efficiency of each other, but at the same time, valuing the independence between them.

The purpose of this type of project is to integrate different areas of the client's life, allowing him to have access to leisure, commerce and services close to his residence, in addition to integrating him with the urbanization of the city. This is the advantage of “mixed use” projects: giving the resident the autonomy to work, exercise, have fun and meet other people, all without facing traffic or having to go far.

Execut already has “mixed use” projects available. Contact us or visit one of our units and find out!
