According to a survey carried out by the tour operator CVC, João Pessoa is the second most popular destination for Brazilians for their July holidays. The company reported a 10% increase in demand compared to the same period last year.

In the ranking, in addition to the capital of Paraíba, Recife (PE) appears in first place, followed by Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Maceió (AL) and Natal (RN), occupying third, fourth and fifth places, respectively.

This result is a consequence of investments in promoting the destination, as well as the expansion and improvement of the airline network. As a result, the city receives more and more tourists arriving, not only in summer and high season, but also at other times, as the research shows.
