The Paraíba Beach Games is ready to put João Pessoa on the world beach sports map! Officially launched by governor João Azevêdo in a special ceremony at the José Lins do Rego Cultural Space, the event promises to transform the capital of Paraíba into a true hub for international competitions.

Located on Praia de Tambaú, at the height of Busto de Tamandaré, the festival will bring together athletes from all over the world in exciting competitions in beach volleyball, beach soccer, handball, triathlon and beach tennis. 

The city expects to receive more than 2,500 athletes and attract an audience of more than 400,000 people during the 45 days of programming, which will take place between October and November.

In addition to the breathtaking competitions, the event will feature shows, craft fairs, regional cuisine and sports classes for more than four thousand students from public schools, promoted by Sejel and the Association of Federations of the State of Paraíba (Afep).
